Partnerships

Bring us a course, a cohort, or an audience.

BayAIU — hands-on AI education connecting Silicon Valley practice with what learners actually need.

Three ways to work together — a content partnership, a co-hosted cohort, or channel distribution. Each one below says who does what, what is licensed, how attribution works, and how money is settled. Terms are agreed case by case: we do not publish a single revenue-share rate and we do not guarantee enrollment numbers.

Why BayAIU — things you can check

Not “access to Silicon Valley.” Here is what actually exists today, most of it visible from the public site.

Courseware ships as a full set

Every session produces the same package: a session outline, an instructor script, slides (.pptx + PDF), a prompt pack, and in-class checkpoint cards — generated from one template so the format is identical across courses and instructors.

Delivery runs end to end

Checkout (Stripe — cards, Apple / Google Pay, Alipay, with receipts) → student dashboard → live session or self-hosted replay → course materials behind authenticated signed links → attendance records → student community and in-app messages answered by a real person.

Student work is reviewed, not just collected

In-class worksheets are bound to a specific course and session and land in the back office as the student fills them. Project submissions go through a human review queue — approved with a note, or returned with one — and approved work is published on the public student-work page.

See published student work →

Bilingual pages and careful claims by default

The whole site runs in English and Chinese (/zh URLs with hreflang). Public copy carries no income, audience-growth, admission, or job promises; BPPE registration is pending and stated as pending; the certificate wording is the same everywhere it appears.

From an incoming course to a running cohort

How long it takes depends on how finished the material is — we don't quote a fixed number of days.

  1. 01

    Assess the content

We read the outline and watch one sample session (recording or a live run-through), check that it lands on something a student actually produces in class, and agree on the licence scope before anything is built.

  2. 02

    Rebuild the courseware

The material is rebuilt into our standard set — outline, instructor script, slides, prompt pack, checkpoint cards — and finalised in both Chinese and English.

  3. 03

    Page and checkout go live

A bilingual course page, online enrollment and payment, discount codes, and attributed channel links (including a poster QR code) for whoever is recruiting.

  4. 04

    Run a small trial

One small cohort or trial session first: collect the in-class worksheets and feedback, then revise the courseware before a wider run.

  5. 05

Open the cohort, then review it

The cohort runs on the agreed schedule with attendance and submissions on record; certificates of completion are issued at the end (a completion certificate — not a degree, academic credit, or professional license), and both sides review what to change for the next run.

Partnership 01

Content partnership

You bring a course, faculty, case material, or domain expertise.

Intake bar
A complete outline plus at least one sample session (recording or live run-through); the instructor has actually done the work being taught; every session ends in something the student produces; no income, audience-growth, admission, or job promises in the material; no third-party assets you don't have the right to use.
Licence scope
Territory, language (Chinese / English), term, exclusive or not, whether sessions may be recorded and replayed, and whether excerpts may be used to promote the course — each agreed in writing. Anything not agreed is not licensed by default.
Who keeps it current
The instructor owns the substance — revisions when a tool, a platform, or a rule changes. BayAIU owns the packaging: courseware layout, bilingual pages, recordings, and platform upkeep. Revision cadence and response time go in the agreement.
Credit & settlement
How the instructor and the partner organization are credited on the course page, in the courseware, and on the certificate is agreed up front. Revenue share, settlement cycle, and payout minimum are agreed between the two sides and settled on actual completed sales net of refunds — there is no standard rate and no guaranteed minimum.

Partnership 02

Co-hosted cohort

You bring teaching resources, an audience to recruit from, or local service on the ground (venue, TAs, operations).

Recruiting
Agreed between the two sides — both sides recruit from their own channels, or one side recruits and the other refers. Either way we supply attributed links and discount codes, so every enrollment is traceable to the channel that produced it. We do not guarantee a minimum number of students, and we don't ask you to.
Teaching
Agreed between the two sides — your instructor teaches on our courseware and delivery process, or ours teaches with your TAs. Whoever teaches, the session package (outline, script, slides, prompt pack, checkpoints) is the same one described above.
Student support
Default: BayAIU handles it through the student dashboard, in-app messages, and the student community. For an in-person cohort, on-site service is handled by the local partner. Anything else is agreed in writing.
Certificate
Carries a verifiable link, and is co-issued with CSTU on the courses CSTU co-produces (AI Essentials and OPCS); the rest are issued by BayAI Circle. It certifies completion — it is not a degree, academic credit, or professional license. For a live cohort, eligibility is ≥80% attendance plus a submitted final project; for the self-paced video course, watch all session recordings in full.
Payment & refunds
Default: enrollment is paid through BayAIU's Stripe checkout (cards, Apple / Google Pay, Alipay), and refunds follow the published refund policy and are processed by BayAIU. If the partner collects payment instead, that has to be written into the agreement separately.
Student data
Student data stays with BayAIU and is used under the privacy policy. The partner receives aggregate figures within an agreed scope — not full personal information.

Partnership 03

Channel distribution

You bring a community, an audience, or a place inside your product where a course belongs.

Attribution
Attribution is written into the order itself — via your channel link, your discount code, or a parameter on the API call — so it doesn't depend on cookies surviving. Every attributed order is visible to you in the partner center.
Commission
Agreed between the two sides, based on how you integrate and at what volume. There is no single rate that applies to everyone. The published standard terms for self-serve API integration are on the Partner API page.
Refund clawback
A refund automatically reverses the commission on that order. Commission is only settleable after the refund window on the order has closed — the freeze period is set out in the self-serve terms or in your agreement.
Settlement
Settlement cycle and payout minimum are agreed between the two sides (self-serve integrations follow the published terms). Settlement is on completed sales net of refunds; there is no guaranteed minimum.
Integration
Three depths: (1) a channel link plus a poster QR code — no development at all; (2) a dedicated discount code and landing page; (3) the Partner API — course catalog, hosted checkout, and a commission ledger, so the courses live inside your own product.
Ground rules
Disclose the partnership as the FTC requires, and never use income, audience-growth, admission, or job-outcome promises in your copy. Prices shown must be the ones we publish.
